About me:
I have been married since 1997, and my hubby and I have 3 kids. My husband did most of the cooking for the first year of our marriage, as I hated to cook. I've discovered AllRecipes.com and Taste of Home since then, thank goodness!

This was easy to make and tasted good. My kids enjoyed it. I served it over pasta.

The Mushroom Steak Stuff

Reviewed on Jul. 28, 2008 by supermomwannabe
I tried this recipe after buying all the ingredients it called for. It wasn't difficult to make, but after reading it I thought it sounded fantastic. I was not impressed. I followed the recipe exactly, so not sure what happened...I thought it didn't have enough sauce for one thing...I might try it again though -my husband and youngest daughter both liked it. (Might just be personal taste? I love feta cheese but am not used to feta and steak...)

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed on Jul. 28, 2008 by supermomwannabe
What a great recipe! I served with avocado slices and a dallop of sour cream in each bowl and the whole family loved it. I have 2 small kids, and 2 older kids, so I used Mild Rotel, cut down on the chile powder & cilantro, and it was not as spicy. (My husband and older 2 kids added a little chile powder to their bowls to spice it up a tad)...it's hard to find something that everyone likes - this is a keeper. I served it with a quick taco salad and viola, dinner was done! Hubby took leftovers to work and said it was better the next day. Thanks for the recipe!
